With Axis Direct there are twwo types of Dormant accounts as mentioned below:

Dormant for no trades for more than 12 months but less than 24 months: If you trading account is flagged for thhis reason, please contact our customer service team or write to us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Dormant for no trades for more than 24 months: In such a case if your account is a single holder Resident Indian (RI) account, upon logging in to your account on the portal, the system will ask you to do an online KYC and fecth your details from Digilocker, then capture your image for In-percson Verification and lastly ask you to do an Aadhaar E-sign thourgh the NSDL protean link.

For NRI, Joint Holder, HUF and Non - Individual accounts, Dormant accounts can only be activated through the offline process wherein you would have to submit the following documents at the nearest Axis Bank branch:

2. Self attested copy of the PAN card

3. Self attested copy of the Aadhaar card (The Aadhaar number should be masked and should be with the QR Code)

4. Self attested copy of the Address Proof (In case the address on the account is different from the Aadhaar)

5. Common Modification Form (Click Here to download) (Only in case of Joint Holders)

Please Note: The contact details updated in the KYC KRA form will be updated in the Demat as well as the Trading account, in case there are any changes in the address, name or PAN on the KYC from, the photograph on the KYC KRA form will be mandatory.
