This line could easily be mistaken to be an inspirational quote from a celebrity, but it comes from Bengaluru-based Product Manager, Aamna Khan. While speaking about investing in equities through smallcases, Aamna says that she wasn’t averse to equity-related risks, but she didn’t really understand how stock investing worked and that turned her away from them.

Aamna heard about smallcase in 2016 through a colleague who was talking about how the company was bringing thematic investing to India. She found the concept of “investing in ideas” to be very intuitive and a lot more accessible than direct equity investments.

Having wanted to explore the stock markets for quite some time, smallcase helped Aamna get started. “I couldn’t really get past the initial feeling of being intimidated by it all,” she says. “This is where smallcase just made so much sense.”
