It is mandatory to change the default password at the time of first login.  Your password is of minimum 6 characters with various combinations of numeric, alphabets and special characters which are not easy to guess. Also by choosing such strong passwords you bypass various password attacks like Brute Force attack, Dictionary attack, etc. Also, the passwords are encrypted while entering on the online portal, so that no one can see what is being typed. You have an option to change your password whenever you want and you should exercise it as frequently as possible.

To maximize the security and confidentiality of your transactions, your password is not accessible to anyone, not even to bank employees as the passwords are stored in encrypted format in the database.

When you trade with us on the Internet, you are always in a secure zone. To ensure the security of your transactions, we use a technology called Secured Socket Layer (SSL), which involves scrambling of the information between you and the eBroking server. If an unauthorized user tries to access your account by keying in various combinations while trying to guess your password, your account automatically gets locked after three failed password attempts.

These features work together to maximize the security of your online transactions. However, in order to ensure complete security, please remember to log-out of AxisDirect after you have completed your transactions.

Note:AxisDirect will never ask users for their eBroking Login ID, Password, Credit/Debit card numbers, Bank account numbers, or other sensitive financial information by e-mail or on phone and you should never respond to such messages whenever you come across such instances..
