Advantage AxisDirect

In order to convert the Intraday trade into delivery an additional hold on funds will be required (since intraday trade require only 15-20 % margin amount where are delivery trade requires 100 % funds) i.e. to hold the fund amount equal to the full trade value. E.g. you place a bought 'Intraday' order for 100 Axis Bank shares @Rs.1500 per share. Limits utilized (margin blocked) in this transaction is Rs. 22500 as only 15% of the transaction value is blocked. Now instead of squaring off the position by placing an 'Intraday' sell transaction, you decide to take delivery of the 100 shares. You may do so by marking an additional hold on funds by Rs. 1,27,500 (Rs.1,50,000 - Rs. 22,500).
