As per the NSE circular (https://archives.nseindia.com/content/circulars/COMP52623.pdf) Dated 14 June 2022, there will be a change in the login process which requires every stock broker to have a two-factor authentication whenever you login to their respective online platforms.
These are instructed as follows by NSE:
1. Knowledge factor (Something only the user knows): - For e.g., Password, PIN.
2. Possession factor (Something only the user has): - For e.g., OTP, security token, authenticator apps on smartphones etc. In case of OTP, the same should be sent to clients through both email and SMS on their registered email ID and Mobile number.
Hence effective September 30, 2022 to be compliant with the above circular the login process on the AxisDirect web portal, the RING mobile app, the RING PC and the AxisDirect mobile app has changed.
Currently to login to your account on any of the Axis Direct platforms, you need to enter the USERID and a Password along with an access code.
The access code will be sent to your registered mobile number & the registered E-mail ID with us (In case of NRI accounts the access code will be sent only to the registered E-mail ID with us).
