Shriram Polytech is wholly owned subsidiary of DCM Shriram. As on 31 March 2025, SPL had recorded a turnover of Rs 201.63 crore and had a networth of Rs 78.36 crore.

Teknor Apex B.V. (Teknor) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Teknor Apex Company, which is based out of USA. Teknor is a Dutch entity based out of Geleen, Netherlands, with operations in Genk, Belgium. Teknor is primarily engaged in the business of manufacture and sale of thermoplastic elastomers in the European Union.

Consequent to the aforementioned transaction, SPL would cease to be wholly owned subsidiary of the company and shall be reclassified as a joint venture of the company.

Elaborating on this transaction, DCM Shriram stated: ?This partnership represents a significant milestone in DCM Shriram?s strategy to strengthen and grow its advanced materials Polymer compounds portfolio, and expand and develop its global partnerships in high-growth sectors.

By combining Shriram Polytech?s strong domestic presence and manufacturing capability deep expertise in vinyl compounds with Teknor Apex?s global formulation capabilities, the joint venture aims to deliver high performance and technically advanced, sustainable specialty polymer solutions for diverse industrial applications.?

DCM Shriram is a diversified and an integrated business entity with extensive and growing presence across the agri value chain, chemicals & vinyl industry and building material products. Access to captive power at all key manufacturing units enables the businesses to optimize competitive edge.

The company had reported 19.09% fall in consolidated net profit to Rs 212.11 crore despite a 13.01% rise in revenue to Rs 3,785.63 crore in Q3 FY26 as compared with Q3 FY25.

The scrip had gained 0.59% to end at Rs 1179.80 on the BSE today.

The board of DCM Shriram at its meeting held on 16 April 2026 has approved  execution of Shareholders' Agreement, Share Purchase Agreement and other transaction documents amongst the Company, Shriram Polytech (SPL), wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, and Teknor Apex B.V. (Teknor), pursuant to which the Company will transfer 50% equity stake held in SPL to Teknor, for a cash consideration of USD 5.6 million.

Consequent to the above, SPL shall cease to be wholly owned subsidiary of the Company and shall be reclassified as a Joint venture of the Company.

DCM Shriram announced that NSE Sustainability Ratings and Analytics has assigned an ESG Rating of 63 (demonstrating adequate ESG credentials with modest but positive efforts), for the Financial Year 2025 to the Company.

Net profit of DCM Shriram declined 19.09% to Rs 212.11 crore in the quarter ended December 2025 as against Rs 262.14 crore during the previous quarter ended December 2024. Sales rose 13.01% to Rs 3785.63 crore in the quarter ended December 2025 as against Rs 3349.95 crore during the previous quarter ended December 2024.
