We write to inform you that the company has received an order for construction of 09 (nine) No. 132KV transmission lines on a turnkey basis (total RL: 291 km approximately) valuing Rs 187.41 crores approximately from Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission, a Government of Chhattisgarh undertaking, the company said in a regulatory filing.

The letter of acceptance (LoA), dated 16 December 2024, details a project timeline of 15 months for completion.

Texmaco Rail & Engineering is a diversified heavy engineering company, with products including railway freight wagons, hydro-mechanical equipment and industrial structures for infrastructure industry, locomotive components and locomotive shells, railway bridges, steel castings and pressure vessels etc.

Profit before tax (PBT) soared to Rs 97.54 crore in September 2024 quarter, as compared to Rs 36.19 crore in same quarter last fiscal.

EBITDA stood at Rs 149 crore in the September quarter, registering a growth of 82.2% YoY. EBITDA margin improved to 11% in Q2 FY25 as compared with 10.1% registered in the corresponding quarter previous year.

Indrajit Mookerjee, executive director and vice chairman of Texmaco Rail & Engineering, said, We are delighted to have successfully completed the acquisition of Jindal Rail & Infrastructure Ltd during the first half of the year and announced consolidated Revenue from Operations of Rs 2,434 crore. In terms of profitability, Texmaco reported EBITDA at Rs 272 crore, with a margin of 11.2% and Profit after tax at Rs 133 crore, with a margin of 5.5% in H1 FY25. The acquisition has resulted in us increasing revenues by a factor of 1.67x representing a transformation in Texmaco's market presence in India and internationally

Net profit of Texmaco Rail & Engineering rose 195.58% to Rs 72.86 crore in the quarter ended September 2024 as against Rs 24.65 crore during the previous quarter ended September 2023. Sales rose 67.18% to Rs 1345.88 crore in the quarter ended September 2024 as against Rs 805.05 crore during the previous quarter ended September 2023.
