The agency has also reaffirmed its 'Crisil A1? rating on the short-term bank facilities of the company.

Crisil Ratings stated that the revision in outlook reflects improvement in the business and financial risk profiles of VPTL. Revenue grew to Rs 1,167 crore in fiscal 2026, from Rs 958 crore in fiscal 2025, owing to healthy demand from domestic and export markets.

The operating margin stood at 17% in fiscal 2026. Further sustenance of revenue growth and profitability will remain a key monitorable.

The ratings continue to reflect the extensive experience of the promoters in the stainless steel pipes business along with increasing scale of operations, healthy operating margin and moderate financial risk profile of the company.

These strengths are partly offset by large working capital requirement and exposure to risks related to completion of capital expenditure (capex) and ramp up in scale.

Venus Pipes and Tubes manufactures stainless steel pipes and tubes used in multiple industries. Strategically located on the Bhuj-Bhachau highway near Dhaneti in Kutch (Gujarat), its facility is in close proximity to the Kandla and Mundra ports. The company has manufacturing capacity of 48,000 tonne per annum (TPA) of welded and seamless pipes and tubes and 20,400 TPA of mother hollow pipes.

The scrip had advanced 2.32% to end at Rs 1694.30 on the BSE on Thursday.

Venus Pipes & Tubes announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on 26 May 2026, inter alia, have recommended the final dividend of Rs 0.5 per equity Share (i.e. 5%) , subject to the approval of the shareholders.

Net profit of Venus Pipes & Tubes rose 7.55% to Rs 25.50 crore in the quarter ended March 2026 as against Rs 23.71 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2025. Sales rose 17.07% to Rs 302.20 crore in the quarter ended March 2026 as against Rs 258.14 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2025.

For the full year,net profit rose 9.76% to Rs 101.96 crore in the year ended March 2026 as against Rs 92.89 crore during the previous year ended March 2025. Sales rose 21.73% to Rs 1166.85 crore in the year ended March 2026 as against Rs 958.53 crore during the previous year ended March 2025.

Venus Pipes & Tubes has commenced commercial operations of its fittings facility along with the commissioning of additional seamless pipes / tubes capacity today.

The Company has successfully commissioned seamless pipes/tubes expansion project with an additional capacity of 4,200 MTPA under the current phase. With this, the total seamless pipes/tubes capacity added under the overall expansion program now stands at 6,000 MTPA (higher than 4,800 MTPA initially planned), including the 1,800 MTPA capacity commissioned in November 2025. Alongside this, the Company has also commissioned equivalent capacity of Mother Hollow Pipes as part of its backward integration for seamless pipes. The additional capacity expansion was undertaken considering the demand outlook.

Further, the company has also commenced operations at its fitting's facility, marking a significant milestone in its strategy of forward integration and expansion into value-added product categories.
