Established in 1976 by Jurgen Nerbe, based out of Hamburg, Germany, Nerbe R&D GmbH and Nerbe plus GmbH & Co. KG are a distributor of plastic labware based out in Hamburg, Germany. For 2022, the total turnover and the EBITA of the two entities was 16.1 million euro and 4.9 million euro, respectively.

Tarsons Products and Tarsons Life Science have entered share purchase & transfer agreement with the Nerbe R&D GmbH and Nerbe plus GmbH & Co. KG for acquiring in 100% stake in the two entities for an approximate cash consideration of 10-15 million euros, subject to closing adjustments.

After transaction closing, Tarsons Life Science shall have acquired 100% in the two entities, and they would become the step-down subsidiaries of Tarsons Products.Offering the rationale for the stated acquisition, Tarsons Products said: “The acquisition is of strategic nature and will help the Tarsons Group to enhance its line of business.”

Tarsons Products is engaged in manufacturing and selling of plastic laboratory products and certain scientific instruments. The company caters to both domestic and international markets.

The company's standalone net profit had declined 40.35% to Rs 12.80 crore on a 6.92% fall in sales to Rs 66.32 crore in Q2 FY24 over Q2 FY23.
