Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care has arrived at an advanced pricing agreement with the tax authorities on 26 March 2024, determining appropriate transfer pricing methodology for certain identified transactions with Company's affiliate(s) for the years viz., F.Y. 2010-11 to F.Y. 2018-19. As a consequence of this agreement;

1. An additional tax liability, approximately of about Rs. 36 crore (including interest) is payable.

2. There will be a reduction in contingent liabilities of approximately Rs. 87 crore, subject to withdrawal of relevant tax litigations by the respective parties

Procter & Gamble Hygiene &Healthcare is engaged in manufacturing and selling of branded packaged fast moving consumer goods in the femcare and healthcare businesses.

The company’s standalone net profit jumped 10.3% to Rs 228.90 crore in Q2 FY24 as compared with Rs 207.47 crore in Q2 FY23. Net sales fell marginally 0.3% YoY to Rs 1130.93 crore in Q2 FY24.
