Maharashtra Seamless rises on bagging order for Rs 537 cr

The scope of order entails supply of pipes in various states including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Assam and Tripura as required by ONGC.
The order is to be executed through gradual dispatches over the course of 46 weeks.
Maharashtra Seamless manufactures carbon and alloy steel seamless pipes, ERW (Electrical Resistance Welding) steel and castings pipes. The company also owns a wind power mill.
The company's consolidated net profit jumped 81.4% to Rs 171.76 crore on 17.5% rise in net sales to Rs 1,338.49 crore in Q3 FY23 over Q3 FY22.

Net profit of Maharashtra Seamless rose 81.41% to Rs 171.76 crore in the quarter ended December 2022 as against Rs 94.68 crore during the previous quarter ended December 2021. Sales rose 17.47% to Rs 1338.49 crore in the quarter ended December 2022 as against Rs 1139.40 crore during the previous quarter ended December 2021.
