The scrip was listed at Rs 170, a premium of 6.25% compared with the issue price. The scrip hit a high of Rs 178 and a low of Rs 169. About 9,29,600 shares of the company changed hands at the counter.

The initial public offer (IPO) of Kody Technolab was subscribed 45 times. The issue opened for bidding on 15 September 2023 and it closed on 20 September 2023. The price of the IPO was fixed at Rs 160 per share.

The IPO comprised fresh issue of 17,20,000 shares. The promoter and promoter shareholding diluted to 73.01% from 100% Pre-IPO.

The company intends to utilize the net proceeds for funding capital expenditure toward setting up development center at gift city, Gandhinagar, for funding incremental working capital requirement of the company, for repayment/ prepayment of certain borrowings availed by the company and general corporate expenses.

Kody Technolab offers a wide range of services that include custom development, AI Consultation & Implementation, IoT Services and IT consulting services. The company has presence in USA, Canada and UK through its sales representative in that country from where they market there services and solutions. As on June, 2023 the company has 106 employees on payroll.

The company recorded revenue from operations of Rs 10.95 crore and net profit of Rs 3.18 crore for the period as on 31 March 2023.

The Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) category received bids for 4,37,44,800 shares. The Non Institutional Investors (NIIs) category received bids for 2,68,64,800 shares. The Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) category received bids for 68,45,600 shares.
