Jyoti CNC Automation Ltd soared 20.00% to Rs 553.8 at 12:03 IST. The stock was the biggest gainer in the BSE's 'B' group. On the BSE, 2.51 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 4.23 lakh shares in the past one month.

Uma Exports Ltd spiked 19.99% to Rs 70.82. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'B' group. On the BSE, 3.55 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 45269 shares in the past one month.

Modison Ltd surged 19.57% to Rs 157. The stock was the third biggest gainer in 'B' group. On the BSE, 1.36 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 14647 shares in the past one month.

Dolat Algotech Ltd jumped 16.71% to Rs 86.8. The stock was the fourth biggest gainer in 'B' group. On the BSE, 9.32 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 95918 shares in the past one month.

Ausom Enterprise Ltd gained 15.12% to Rs 94.7. The stock was the fifth biggest gainer in 'B' group. On the BSE, 63400 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 8760 shares in the past one month.

The scrip was listed at Rs 372, exhibiting a premium of 12.39% to the issue price.

So far, the stock has hit a high of 423.70 and a low of 370.05. On the BSE, over 8.89 lakh shares of the company were traded in the counter so far.

The initial public offer (IPO) of Jyoti CNC Automation was subscribed 38.53 times. The issue opened for bidding on 9 January 2024 and it closed on 11 January 2024. The price band of the IPO was fixed at Rs 315-331 per share.

The offer consisted only of fresh issue of equity shares aggregating to Rs 1,000 crore.

Of the net proceeds from the fresh issue, the company intends to use Rs 475 crore towards repayment and prepayment in part or full of certain borrowings availed of; Rs 360 crore towards funding long-term working capital requirements and balance towards general corporate purposes.

As on 30 September 2023, total borrowings stood at Rs 821.40 crore.

Jyoti CNC Automation is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of metal cutting computer numerical control (CNC) machines. It is the 3rd largest player in India with a market share of about 10% in fiscal 2023 and 12th largest player globally accounting for about 0.4% of the market share in calendar year 2022.

The company supplies a diverse portfolios of CNC machines including CNC Turning Centers, CNC Turn Mill Centers, CNC Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) and CNC Horizontal Machining Centers (HMCs) to both domestic and international customers across the world operating in various end-user industries.

The firm reported a net profit of Rs 3.35 crore and sales of Rs 509.82 crore for the six months ended on 30 September 2023.
