The contract involves the laying of sewer networks and providing house sewer connections in four wards - Shivpurwa, Tulasipur, Birdopur and Kajipura - out of 18 identified problematic wards in Nagar Nigam, Varanasi.

The project will be executed on a turnkey basis and includes surveying, soil investigation, design, supply of materials, laying and jointing of sewer pipelines, and house sewer connections. The execution period is 24 months.

Earlier, on 6 June 2026, the company had informed the exchanges that it had emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for the project.

The project involves surveying, soil investigation, design, supply of materials, labour and equipment for the construction of sewerage infrastructure in Ramnagar Zone (Extended Area) of Nagar Nigam Varanasi on a turnkey basis.

The scope of work includes construction of a 10 MLD sewage treatment plant (STP) with co-treatment facility, sewage pumping station (SPS), boundary wall, staff quarters, site development, laying of rising mains, sewer network and sewer house connections.

The order is to be executed over a period of 24 months. The project has been awarded by a domestic entity and does not involve any related party transaction, EMS said.

The project involves providing, laying and jointing internal and peripheral sewer lines in Tikri Kalan GOC under the command area of the proposed sewage treatment plant (STP) at Tikri Kalan in Delhi.

The contract is scheduled to be executed over 15 months, the company said in a regulatory filing.

EMS said the contract has been awarded by a domestic entity and that neither its promoters nor promoter group companies have any interest in the awarding authority. It added that the contract does not fall under related-party transactions.
