The scrip was listed at Rs 55.95, a premium of 7.60% compared with the issue price. The scrip hit a high of Rs 55.95 and a low of Rs 53.15. About 4,54,000 lakh shares of the company changed hands at the counter.

The initial public offer (IPO) of Crop Life Science was subscribed 4.12 times. The issue opened for bidding on 18 August 2023 and it closed on 22 August 2023.The IPO price was fixed at Rs 52 per share.

The IPO comprised fresh issue of 51,40,000 shares The promoter and promoter group shareholding will dilute to 70.01% from 100% pre-IPO.

The company intends to utilize the net proceeds for repayment of unsecured loan, long-term working capital requirement and general corporate purposes.

Crop Life Science is engaged in the business of manufacturing, distributing, and marketing of a wide range of agro chemical formulations. At present, the company manufactures and sells various formulations of insecticides, fungicide and herbicides, plant growth regulators, micro fertilizers and weedicides. Currently, it has wide range of more than 85 agro chemical products. As on 30 June 2023, the company has the total strength of 175 permanent employees (including skilled and semi-skilled Labour) in various departments.

The company recorded a revenue from operations of Rs 122.53 crore and net profit of Rs 4.36 crore for the period ended as on 28 February 2023.
