STEAG Energy Services (India), a wholly-owned step down subsidiary of  Bluspring Enterprises has been awarded an order from Bharat Aluminium Company for comprehensive operations and maintenance of 1740 MW power plant. The estimated size of the contract is Rs 2,049.8 crore.

The contract, valued at an estimated Rs 2,049.8 crore including additional services, will be effective from July 1, 2026, and remain in force for a period of 60 months.

The scope of work covers comprehensive operations and maintenance services for BALCO's power generation facility.

The company said the contract has been awarded by a domestic entity and does not constitute a related-party transaction. It also clarified that neither its promoter nor promoter group entities have any interest in BALCO.

Bluspring Enterprises announced that its subsidiary, Bluspring New Horizon One has completed the acquisition 100% of the paid-up share capital of STEAG Energy Services (India) (SESI) on a fully diluted basis from STEAG Power GmbH and consequently SESI has become a wholly-owned step-down subsidiary of the Company with effect from today, i.e. 21 May 2026.

Revenue rose by 7.9% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 864.80 crore in the March 2026 quarter.

Total operating expenditure increased by 5.3% to Rs 845.16 crore in Q4 FY26 over Q4 FY25.

The company posted a pre-tax profit of Rs 7.96 crore in Q4 FY26 as against a pre-tax loss of Rs 20.40 crore in Q4 FY25.

Bluspring Enterprises has recorded a net loss of Rs 15.34 crore in FY26 as against a net loss of Rs 172.03 crore in FY25. Revenue fell by 2.9% to Rs 3,382.03 crore in FY26 over FY25.
