Bank of India is up for a third straight session in a row. The stock is quoting at Rs 149.41, up 1.49% on the day as on 12:49 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 1.08% on the day, quoting at 26165.55. The Sensex is at 85506.55, up 1.09%. Bank of India has risen around 6.94% in last one month.

Meanwhile, Nifty PSU Bank index of which Bank of India is a constituent, has risen around 7.55% in last one month and is currently quoting at 8486.5, up 1.26% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 75.72 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 118.25 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark December futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 150.01, up 1.2% on the day. Bank of India is up 33.96% in last one year as compared to a 7.79% spurt in NIFTY and a 26.68% spurt in the Nifty PSU Bank index.

The PE of the stock is 6.73 based on TTM earnings ending September 25.

Meanwhile, Nifty PSU Bank index of which Bank of India is a constituent, has gained around 6.41% in last one month and is currently quoting at 7853.3, up 0.7% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 242.14 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 97.13 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark October futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 135.94, up 4.37% on the day. Bank of India is up 36.77% in last one year as compared to a 6.88% jump in NIFTY and a 22.99% jump in the Nifty PSU Bank index.

The PE of the stock is 5.96 based on TTM earnings ending September 25.

Profit before tax (PBT) rose 8.9% YoY to Rs 3,379.61 crore in Q2 September 2025.

Net interest income (NII) fell 1.24% to Rs 5,912 crore in Q2 FY26, compared with Rs 5,986 crore in Q2 FY25. Net interest margin (NIM) slipped to 2.41% in Q2 FY26, compared with 2.81% in Q2 FY25

Global deposits jumped 10.08% to Rs 8,53,301 crore in Q2 FY26 compared with Rs 7,75,181 crore in Q2 FY4. Domestic deposits increased 8.53% YoY to Rs 7,30,098 crore in Q2 FY26.

Global advances stood at Rs 7,09,145 crore in Q2 FY26, registering the growth of 14.03% compared with Rs 6,21,919 crore in Q2 FY25. Domestic advances climbed 14.73% YoY to Rs 5,97,350 crore in Q2 FY26.

On asset quality front, gross non-performing assets (GNPA) improved by 187 bps to 2.54% in Q2 FY26 as against 4.41% in Q2 FY25. Net non-performing assets (NNPA) improved by 29 bps to 0.65% in Q2 FY26 as compared with 0.94% in Q2 FY25.

Capital Adequacy Ratio (CRAR) as at the end of Q2FY26 stood at 16.69%. Tier 1 CRAR stood at 14.49% while CET -1 ratio stood at 13.89% in Q2 FY26.

Bank of India is a public sector bank. The Government of India held a 73.38% stake in the bank as of 30th September 2025.

Net profit of Bank of India rose 6.42% to Rs 2576.69 crore in the quarter ended September 2025 as against Rs 2421.29 crore during the previous quarter ended September 2024. Total Operating Income rose 6.04% to Rs 18521.48 crore in the quarter ended September 2025 as against Rs 17465.81 crore during the previous quarter ended September 2024.
