Bajel Projects announced that it has bagged an order for the Bellary-Davanagere transmission line Package TL01 comprising 2nd 400kV (Quad) D/c transmission line. According to the company's project classification, the value of the order ranges between Rs 200 crore to Rs 300 crore.

The order forms part of the larger transmission system strengthening initiative for the integration of additional renewable energy potential of 0.25 GW at Davanagere and 2.75 GW at Bellary ? a critical link in evacuating renewable power into the national grid.

The project involves construction of a ~70 kms 400kV (Quad) D/c transmission line connecting Bellary Substation to Davanagere Substation.

Bajel Projects announced that it has bagged an order for the 765kV AIS New Substation Package in Maharashtra which reinforces Bajel's credentials into the 765kV substation class. According to the company's project classification, the value of the order ranges between Rs 200 crore to Rs 300 crore.

The order forms part of the Network Expansion Scheme in Maharashtra for removal of Transmission constraints in Pune Region-I (765/400 kV AIS Pune East) ? a critical grid reinforcement initiative aimed at strengthening one of India's most industrially significant load centres.

The project involves the establishment of a new 765/400kV AIS Substation at Pune East, along with the extension of the existing 400kV Karjat (AIS) and 400kV Lonikand-II (AIS) Substations in Maharashtra.

According to the company?s internal classification, the order falls in the Rs 200?Rs 300 crore ?major orders category.

The project involves construction of a 400kV (Quad) double-circuit transmission line under the TL-01 package of the Bellary?Davanagere 2nd 400kV line scheme. It is part of a renewable energy evacuation system aimed at integrating 0.25 GW at Davanagere and 2.75 GW at Bellary into the national grid, with a line length of around 70 km connecting the Bellary Substation to the Davanagere Substation.

Bajel Projects said the project will be executed within 21 months from the date of issuance of the notification of award. The contract is a domestic EPC order, and the company confirmed that neither the promoter, promoter group, nor group companies have any interest in the awarding entity.

Meanwhile, the company has also secured a major order for the 765kV AIS Substation Package from Maharashtra under Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) through its SPV, NES Pune East New Transmission. The project involves the construction of a new 765kV AIS substation at Pune East, along with bay extension works at Karjat and Lonikand-II substations. The project is scheduled to be executed within 21 months from the date of issuance of the Notification of Award.
