WPIL announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on 19 May 2026, inter alia, have recommended the final dividend of Rs 2 per equity Share (i.e. 200%) , subject to the approval of the shareholders.

WPIL announced that the 72th Annual General Meeting(AGM) of the company will be held on 7 August 2026.

Net profit of WPIL rose 2208.00% to Rs 40.39 crore in the quarter ended March 2026 as against Rs 1.75 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2025. Sales declined 10.60% to Rs 511.24 crore in the quarter ended March 2026 as against Rs 571.87 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2025.

For the full year,net profit rose 19.76% to Rs 158.11 crore in the year ended March 2026 as against Rs 132.02 crore during the previous year ended March 2025. Sales rose 2.64% to Rs 1854.57 crore in the year ended March 2026 as against Rs 1806.89 crore during the previous year ended March 2025.

WPIL's South African subsidiary, PCI Africa, has received the official order, as part of a consortium for the lower Umkhomazi bulk water supply scheme Phase 2 : Construction of water works, from UMNGENI-UTHUKELA WATER.

The awarded project is valued at approximately 7.583 Billion Rand (Rs. 4,405 crore) of which PCI's portion is approximately 2.017 Billion Rand (Rs. 1,172 crore). The construction duration is 36 months excluding the defects notification period.
