Vedanta declared preferred bidder for composite license of critical mineral blocks

Vedanta announced that it has been declared the preferred bidder for the Gollarahatti-Mallenahalli Nickel Chromium and PGE Block (on highest Final Price Offer of 15.00%) and Genjana Nickel, Chromium and PGE Block (on highest Final Price Offer of 6.05%) by Ministry of Mines, Government of India.
As per the tender document, the Gollarahatti-Mallenahalli Nickel Chromium and PGE Block is at G4 level of exploration with total area of 1238.122 hectares for the block, while Genjana Nickel, Chromium and PGE Block is at G3 level of exploration with total area of 788.85 hectares for the block.

Vedanta concludes QIP issue

Vedanta announced the closure of its QIP issue today i.e. 19 July 2024. The company has approved the allotment of 19,31,81,818 equity shares at an issue price of Rs 440 per equity share (including a premium of Rs 439 per equity share), which is at a discount of 4.61% (i.e. Rs 21.26 per equity share) to the floor price of Rs 461.26 per equity share to be allotted to qualified institutional buyers in the issue.
