Tamilnad Mercantile Bank will hold a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company on 27 April 2026.

Total deposits climbed 14.94% to Rs 61,712 crore as of 31 March 2026, as against Rs 53,689 crore as of 31 March 2025.

As of 31 March 2026, total business stood at Rs 115,092 crore, registering a growth of 17.37% compared with Rs 98,055 crore as of 31 March 2025.

CASA increased 22.35% to Rs 17,365 crore as of 31 March 2026, compared with Rs 14,193 crore as of 31 March 2025.

Tamilnad Mercantile Bank (TMB) is one of the renowned old private sector banks, having its headquarters in Thoothukudi (Tamil Nadu). The bank reported standalone net profit jumped 13.74% to Rs 341.50 crore on a 9.57% increase in total income to Rs 1,665.42 crore in Q3 FY26 over Q3 FY25.

Shares of Tamilnad Mercantile Bank fell 1.14% to Rs 599.35 on the BSE.

Tamilnad Mercantile Bank is opening three new branches at Ballari (Karnataka), Anand (Gujarat) and Pandalkudi (Tamil Nadu) on 30 March 2026.
