The company said that 90% of total cost to be received against inspection certificate issued by the RDSO as specified in the contract and proof of dispatch/delivery of the material and balance 10% after receipt, inspection and acceptance of the goods.

Oriental Rail Infrastructure is engaged in the manufacturing, buying and selling of all type Recron, Seat & Berth, Compreg Boards and also engaged in trading of timber woods and all its products. The company caters to both domestic and international markets.

The company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 4.37 crore as against a net loss of Rs 8.01 crore in Q4 FY24 over Q4 FY23. Revenue from operations jumped 42.91% year on year to Rs 172.03 crore in Q4 FY24.

The counter hit an all-time high of Rs 397.45 in today's intra-day session.

Oriental Rail Infrastructure has secured orders worth Rs.19.33 crore from Rail Coach Factory (RCF), Kapurthala , Indian Railways. The order includes manufacturing and supply of:-

a) 194 Sets of ‘Seats' for LHB GS coaches.

b) 96 Sets of ‘Seats and Berths' for LHB SCN coaches.

c) 29 sets of ‘Seats and Berths' with MS corrugated sheet for LHB AC3T coaches.

Oriental Rail Infrastructure announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on 28 May 2024, inter alia, have recommended the final dividend of Rs 0.1 per equity Share (i.e. 10%) , subject to the approval of the shareholders.

Net profit of Oriental Rail Infrastructure reported to Rs 4.37 crore in the quarter ended March 2024 as against net loss of Rs 8.01 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2023. Sales rose 42.91% to Rs 172.04 crore in the quarter ended March 2024 as against Rs 120.38 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2023.

For the full year,net profit rose 840.75% to Rs 30.01 crore in the year ended March 2024 as against Rs 3.19 crore during the previous year ended March 2023. Sales rose 61.84% to Rs 526.20 crore in the year ended March 2024 as against Rs 325.13 crore during the previous year ended March 2023.
