Net Loss of Orient Green Power Company reported to Rs 20.13 crore in the quarter ended March 2023 as against net loss of Rs 33.55 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2022. Sales rose 17.60% to Rs 44.43 crore in the quarter ended March 2023 as against Rs 37.78 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2022.

For the full year,net profit declined 6.86% to Rs 32.58 crore in the year ended March 2023 as against Rs 34.98 crore during the previous year ended March 2022. Sales declined 16.84% to Rs 258.31 crore in the year ended March 2023 as against Rs 310.63 crore during the previous year ended March 2022.

Beta Wind Farm Private (BETA), subsidiary of Orient Green Power Company, had got sanction from Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) for refinancing the existing term loan and working capital facilities amount to Rs. 721.21 crore and an additional term loan facilities amount to Rs. 4.90 crore at the rate of interest of 9.40%, for which Orient Green Power Company is extending a corporate guarantee and providing security on behalf of Beta Wind Farm Private for Rs. 726.11 crore as against the earlier guarantee provided to an extent of Rs. 1,330.02 crore.
