Net profit of LG Electronics India declined 8.19% to Rs 692.73 crore in the quarter ended March 2026 as against Rs 754.55 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2025. Sales rose 8.12% to Rs 8053.55 crore in the quarter ended March 2026 as against Rs 7448.42 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2025.

For the full year,net profit declined 23.52% to Rs 1685.09 crore in the year ended March 2026 as against Rs 2203.35 crore during the previous year ended March 2025. Sales rose 0.98% to Rs 24604.91 crore in the year ended March 2026 as against Rs 24366.64 crore during the previous year ended March 2025.

 LG Electronics India (LGE India) today announced the sale of 1 million+ air conditioners in the first quarter of 2026. This landmark achievement marks the fastest and strongest start to a summer season in the company's history in India. This milestone not only underscores LGE India's exceptional execution capabilities and supply chain agility, but also cements its position as the decisive leader in India's fast-growing and highly competitive air conditioner market.

A key driver of this achievement was LGE India's first-mover advantage with regards to launching its new BEE star-rated compliant AC line-up well ahead of the season, ensuring that retail partners and consumers could seamlessly transition to superior, energy-efficient products without disruption. Complementing this, LGE India's marketing campaign during the ICC World Cup also delivered great reach and consumer engagement at scale, driving unprecedented brand salience and purchase intent.

As part of its commitment to expand clean energy adoption across its manufacturing operations,  LG Electronics India (LGE India) has signed long-term solar Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with Hinduja Renewables Energy (HREPL) and Sunsure Energy.

LGE India will source solar power for its Greater Noida and Pune manufacturing facilities, thereby reducing its carbon footprint while strengthening its transition towards sustainable manufacturing.

As part of these tie-ups, LGE India has signed a 9.80 megawatt peak (MWp) solar PPA with HREPL for its Pune manufacturing facility and an 11 MWp solar PPA with Sunsure Energy for its Greater Noida facility.

LGE India will source approximately 3.21 crore units of renewable energy annually for both facilities, collectively offsetting around 0.61 million metric tonnes of CO2e over the project lifetime.

HREPL will supply 1.61 crore units of clean power annually from its 27.7 MWp solar plant in Nanded, Maharashtra, helping meet 40% of the Pune facility's energy needs and offset 0.31 million metric tonnes of CO2e over the project lifetime.

Similarly, Sunsure Energy will supply approximately 1.6 crore units of renewable electricity annually from its 82.5 MWp solar plant in Erach, Uttar Pradesh, enabling LGE India to meet around 30% of its Greater Noida facility's energy requirement and increase total renewable energy consumption at the plant to approximately 50%, while offsetting 0.30 million metric tonnes of CO2e over the project lifetime.
