Heritage Foods announced the inauguration of the new Ultra High Temperature (UHT) Milk plant with latest SIG packaging technologies, at Sampanbole Village, Shamirpet Mandal, Medchal Dist., Telangana.

Incorporating a delectable array of offerings, the new plant will manufacture exciting flavours of Milkshakes, Flavoured Lassi, Rich Cold Coffee, Refreshing Buttermilk, Whey based Energy drink and UHT Milk. With SIG's fast and flexible filling system, the company will always be able to react quickly and efficiently to whatever trends are shaping the market.

The manufacturing facility will be able to produce nine different SKU's from 80 to 200ml to reach diverse consumer groups and cover a wide range of price points.

Among the other constituents of the index, ITC Ltd decreased 1.44% and Dalmia Bharat Sugar & Industries Ltd lost 0.54% on the day. The S&P BSE FMCG Sector index went up 24.12 % over last one year compared to the 21.12% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

Net profit of Heritage Foods rose 95.92% to Rs 26.90 crore in the quarter ended December 2023 as against Rs 13.73 crore during the previous quarter ended December 2022. Sales rose 19.73% to Rs 941.10 crore in the quarter ended December 2023 as against Rs 785.99 crore during the previous quarter ended December 2022.
