Hemant Surgical Industries has completed the strategic acquisition of a majority stake (66.66%) in Lifesenz Cancer Research Labs (Lifesenz), a company focused on precision oncology and personalized cancer treatment solutions for an amount of Rs. 19.98 crore, making Lifesenz a subsidiary of the Company with effect from 01 June 2026.

Hemant Surgical Industries will hold a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company on 15 May 2026.

Hemant Surgical Industries announced that the purchase orders dated 02 December 2025, 10 December 2025 and 31 December 2025 received from Central Medical Service Society, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India (CMSS) for supply of Flat Panel Detector with two batteries and router along with its other utilities for a total consideration of Rs. 264.33 crore (inclusive of all taxes and duties), final commercial terms including delivery schedule, which are still under discussion and finalization, the Company has agreed to commence supplies, in interim, taking into account the national importance of the project and request made by CMSS.

According to an exchange filing, the order pertains to the supply of flat panel detectors with two batteries and a router, hard travel cases along with other utilities, and X-ray generators. The final commercial terms, including the delivery schedule of the purchase orders, are currently under discussion and subject to finalisation.

The company stated that the order will be executed in tranches by 30 September 2026, subject to negotiations and terms, including any extension requested by Hemant Surgical Industries to CMSS.

Hemant Surgical Industries clarified that none of its promoters or promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding authority. It further stated that the contract does not qualify as a related-party transaction under applicable regulatory norms.

The company's standalone net profit fell 17% to Rs 8.13 crore on a 0.9% rise in revenue to Rs 106.53 crore in FY25 over FY24.
