However, revenue from operations rose 5.15% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 284.11 crore for the quarter ended 31 March 2026.

Total expenses jumped 8.39% YoY to Rs 277 crore in Q4 FY26. The cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 17.43 crore (up 20.62% YoY), while employee benefit expenses rose 0.65% YoY to Rs 33.97 crore during the period under review.

Profit before tax (PBT) fell 12.87% YoY to Rs 14.75 crore during the quarter.

The company said it will seek shareholders? approval, through an enabling resolution, to raise up to Rs 250 crore through various modes, including a further public offer, ADRs, GDRs, FCCBs, debt issuance, QIP, or any other permissible route, subject to necessary regulatory and statutory approvals.

Borosil is a supplier of laboratory glassware, microwaveable kitchenware, and opal ware in India.

The scrip fell 2.10% to Rs 228.85 on the BSE.

Net profit of Borosil declined 4.94% to Rs 10.59 crore in the quarter ended March 2026 as against Rs 11.14 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2025. Sales rose 5.16% to Rs 284.12 crore in the quarter ended March 2026 as against Rs 270.18 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2025.

For the full year,net profit rose 0.58% to Rs 74.66 crore in the year ended March 2026 as against Rs 74.23 crore during the previous year ended March 2025. Sales rose 7.96% to Rs 1195.92 crore in the year ended March 2026 as against Rs 1107.77 crore during the previous year ended March 2025.

Borosil will hold a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company on 19 May 2026.

Borosil has received a communication from Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) regarding the restriction of supply of LPG due to a force majeure situation arising from the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and its consequent impact on global fuel supply.

In view of the above,  the production activities at the Company's Borosilicate Glass Furnace for Pressware Products and its Opal Glass Furnaces, all located at Jaipur, Rajasthan, have been impacted. While production at the Borosilicate Glass Furnace has been temporarily suspended, the Opal Glass Furnaces have been operating at lower capacities.

The Company is actively coordinating with OMCs and the relevant government authorities to secure the supply of LPG, which is essential for production, to ensure continuity of production activities to the extent feasible. We are evaluating the impact arising from the ongoing disruption in the supply of LPG. The Company is actively monitoring the situation and will continue to update the stock exchanges with any material developments in this regard.
