Net profit of Amal reported to Rs 0.37 crore in the quarter ended March 2024 as against net loss of Rs 3.95 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2023. Sales rose 22.25% to Rs 21.21 crore in the quarter ended March 2024 as against Rs 17.35 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2023.

For the full year,net profit reported to Rs 1.70 crore in the year ended March 2024 as against net loss of Rs 16.11 crore during the previous year ended March 2023. Sales rose 40.39% to Rs 86.09 crore in the year ended March 2024 as against Rs 61.32 crore during the previous year ended March 2023.

Revenue from operations rose 42.46% to Rs 25.87 in Q3 December 2023 over Q3 December 2022.

Profit before tax stood at Rs 2.88 crore in Q3 December 2023 as against net loss of Rs 3.89 crore in Q3 December 2022.

Total expenses rose 4.44% to Rs 23.05 crore in Q2 FY24 over Q2 FY23. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 14.34 crore (up 4.14% YoY) while employee benefits expense was at Rs 1.4 crore (up 49% YoY).

Amal is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of bulk chemicals such as Sulphuric acid and Oleum and their downstream products such as Sulphur dioxide and Sulphur trioxide. The plant is located in Ankleshwar, Gujarat, India.
