Meanwhile, Nifty Energy index of which Adani Power Ltd is a constituent, has added around 2.01% in last one month and is currently quoting at 35578.25, up 2.24% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 525.48 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 419.76 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark April futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 168.9, up 2.88% on the day. Adani Power Ltd is up 65.75% in last one year as compared to a 6.81% gain in NIFTY and a 15.26% gain in the Nifty Energy index.

The PE of the stock is 30.71 based on TTM earnings ending December 25.

Adani Power will hold a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company on 29 April 2026.

Meanwhile, Nifty Energy index of which Adani Power Ltd is a constituent, has added around 1.2% in last one month and is currently quoting at 35299.4, down 0.19% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 1093.46 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 373.77 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark April futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 164.9, up 2.52% on the day. Adani Power Ltd is up 61.06% in last one year as compared to a 2.69% spurt in NIFTY and a 12.15% spurt in the Nifty Energy index.

The PE of the stock is 30.06 based on TTM earnings ending December 25.

The contract will run for 25 years, with the first-year tariff quoted at Rs 5.30 per kWh. Power supply is expected to commence from FY2030?31 and will be sourced from one of the company?s upcoming ultra-supercritical thermal power projects.

The award follows a competitive bidding process in which Adani Power emerged as the lowest-tariff bidder.

With this development, Adani Power has now tied-up long-term PSAs of 13.3 GW out of its 23.8 GW under-implementation pipeline, marking a significant step towards its stated objective of securing almost its entire capacity under such contracts.

More than 95% of Adani Power?s current operating capacity of 18.15 GW is now tied up under medium-to-long-term PSAs, while over 55% of its upcoming capacity of 23.8 GW is secured under 25-year PSAs, providing strong visibility and stability of volumes and revenue.
