Tata Metaliks records PAT of Rs 4.55 crore in Q1

Net sales fell by 2.4% YoY to Rs 650.46 crore during the quarter.
Total expenditure in the first quarter aggregated to Rs 615.31 crore (down 4.2% YoY). Raw material costs for the period under review declined by 25.5% YoY.
Profit before tax in Q1 FY24 stood at Rs 6.11 crore, up by 253.2% from Rs 1.73 crore in Q1 FY23. Tax outgo for Q1 FY24 was Rs 1.07 crore (up 234.4% YoY).
Tata Metaliks is a subsidiary of Tata Steel. It has its manufacturing facilities at Kharagpur, West Bengal, India which produces Pig Iron and Ductile Iron Pipes.
The scrip rose 0.08% to currently trade at Rs 824.80 on the BSE.

Sales declined 2.39% to Rs 650.46 crore in the quarter ended June 2023 as against Rs 666.37 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2022.
