similar trading on hours of Diwali. This year Muhurat Trading is going to be conducted from 6:30 pm to
7:30 pm on 7 th November 2018

the time of the trading. All investors wait for this time and make auspicious purchases. The Sensex
closes on a higher note after Muhurat trading.
As per the Hindu calendar, the Muhurat signifies an ‘auspicious hour’. Hindu mythology believes that the
alignment of planets during ‘Muhurat’ hour on the Diwali day makes the hour auspicious and fruitful.
