Production of commercial vehicles stood at 1,652 units in March 2026, registering the growth of 3.64% from 1,594 units produced in March 2025.

However, exports declined sharply to 64 units in March 2026, down 65.59% from 186 units exported in March 2025.

SML Mahindra (formerly known as SML Isuzu) is primarily engaged in the business of the manufacture and sale of commercial vehicles and their parts. The company?s standalone net profit surged 3209.43% to Rs 17.54 crore on a 62.53% jump in revenue from operations to Rs 539.27 crore in Q3 FY26 over Q2 FY26.

SML Mahindra reported total sales of 2,457 units in month of March 2026 compared to 2,315 units in March 2025, recording a growth of 6%. Total sales comprised of cargo vehicle sales of 606 units (up 2% YoY) and passenger vehicle sales of 1,851 units (up 8% YoY).

For FY 2026, total sales stood at 16,632 units compared to 14,221 units for the corresponding period of previous year, recording a growth of 17%.

SML Mahindra will hold a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company on 20 April 2026.

The company?s cargo vehicle sales rose 2% to 606 units in March 2026 from 594 units in March 2025, while passenger vehicle sales rose 8% YoY to 1,851 units.

For the period April to March 2026, the company's total sales aggregated to 16,632 units, registering a growth of 17% from 14,221 units sold in the same period a year ago.
