Great Eastern Shipping Company has contracted to sell its 2003 built Medium Range Tanker 'Jag Pankhi' of about 46,273 dwt, to an unaffiliated third party. The vessel will be delivered to the buyer in Q1 FY27.

Including Jag Pankhi, the company's current owned fleet stands at 40 vessels, comprising 26 Tankers (5 Crude Tankers, 17 Product Tankers, 4 LPG Carriers) and 14 Dry Bulk Carriers (2 Capesize, 9 Kamsarmax, 1 Ultramax, 2 Supramax) aggregating 3.20 mn dwt.

On 6th April 2026, Great Eastern Shipping Company (GE Shipping) has contracted to sell its 2007 built Medium Range Tanker Jag Prakash of about 47,848 dwt, to an unaffiliated third party. The vessel will be delivered to the new buyer in Q1 FY27.

Including Jag Prakash, the company's current owned fleet stands at 40 vessels, comprising 26 Tankers (5 Crude Tankers, 17 Product Tankers, 4 LPG Carriers) and 14 Dry Bulk Carriers (2 Capesize, 9 Kamsarmax, 1 Ultramax, 2 Supramax) aggregating 3.20 mn dwt.

Additionally, the company has contracted to buy one secondhand Kamsarmax Dry Bulk Carrier and one secondhand Medium Range Tanker, and these transactions are expected to be completed in Q1 FY27.

Great Eastern Shipping Company announced that SES ESG Research (SES ESG), a SEBI registered ESG Rating provider, has vide its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) report assigned an overall ESG score of 69.3 to the Company.

The 2014 Japanese built vessel is expected to join the company?s fleet by Q1 FY27. The proposed vessel will be financed entirely from internal accruals.

Following the addition, the company?s current owned fleet stands at 41 vessels, comprising 27 Tankers (5 Crude Tankers, 17 Product Tankers, 5 LPG Carriers) and 14 Dry Bulk Carriers (2 Capesize, 9 Kamsarmax, 1 Ultramax, 2 Supramax) aggregating 3.25 mn dwt. The company?s current capacity utilization is close to 100%.

Additionally, the company has contracted to sell one Very Large Gas Carrier ?Jag Vishnu?, and this sale transaction is expected to be completed in Q4 FY26.
