The commercial operation date (COD) for Phase II is March 14, 2026. With this, ACME Sun Power has a total commissioned capacity of 66.67 MW / 320.99 MWh out of the planned 300 MW / 1,409.34 MWh.

In a separate filing, the company said that through its various subsidiaries, ACME Solar has commissioned 142.67 MW / 481.49 MWh of BESS in Phase I out of a total planned capacity of 585 MW / 2,011.24 MWh under its SPVs. The company?s portfolio targets about 17 GWh of BESS installations across multiple phases and states.

The Rajasthan BESS units are connected to the operational Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) and will operate on a short-term merchant basis, generating additional revenue through price differentials between peak and non-peak hours. They will eventually integrate with respective FDRE projects under 25-year PPAs.

The systems are designed to enhance grid reliability and optimize power utilization by charging during non-peak periods and discharging during peak demand. This capability helps balance energy supply and demand and strengthens overall grid stability.

Overall, Company's current portfolio requires installation of ~17 GWh of BESS in multiple phases across different states.

Located in the state of Rajasthan, these BESS are connected with existing operational Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) and will run on merchant basis on short term basis, generating additional revenue stream through price differential between peak and non-peak demand hours. Eventually they will be integrated with respective FDRE projects, which will then continue under the PPA for 25 years.

The agreements, signed on 2 March 2026, are for a tenor of 25 years.

The PPAs were awarded under the Tranche-FDRE-4 tender issued as per Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) guidelines. An e-reverse auction was held on 9 October 2025, and the letter of award (LOA) was received on 10 November 2025.

The projects will be connected to ISTS substations and utilize night-time connectivity at high irradiation zones in Rajasthan. ACME Solar will supply four hours of assured peak power during non-solar hours with 90% availability on a monthly and annual basis.

With these PPAs, ACME Solar has signed 1,690 MW of agreements in the current financial year, taking its total PPA-signed capacity to 6,270 MW.

 ACME Solar Holdings (ACME Solar) through its subsidiary, ACME Greentech Seventh, has signed two Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with SJVN for a total capacity of 450 MW/1,800 MWh. The PPAs has been signed for a tenor of 25 years on 2 March 2026.

The projects will be connected to ISTS substations and will utilize night-time connectivity available with ACME Solar at high irradiation zones in Rajasthan.

Under the PPAs, ACME Solar will supply 4 hours of assured peak power supply during non solar hours with 90% availability on monthly and annual basis.

Following this PPA, ACME Solar has signed 1,690 MW of PPAs in current financial year taking the total PPA signed capacity to 6,270 MW.
